Currently, Superset does not support fully deleting client accounts. However, you can archive clients to stop them from being considered active and to ensure they do not count toward your billing. Archiving is the recommended way to manage inactive or unwanted clients. All clients with status "active" or "invited" will count towards your monthly bill after your 14-day free trial expires. If you added a sample client while trialing, you can archive that client and they will not be counted towards your bill.
How to Archive a Client
To archive a client:
Navigate to the Clients tab within your Superset account.
Locate the client you wish to archive.
Click on the three dots next to the client’s name.
Select the Archive option from the dropdown menu. Once archived, the client will no longer appear as active in your account.
If you'd like to extend your trial, please reach out to [email protected] and we'll take care of you!
Billing Implications of Archiving
Superset’s billing system considers only active and invited clients for billing purposes. Archived clients do not contribute to your account's billing total and are effectively excluded from charges. This ensures that you are not billed for inactive clients while keeping their records accessible if needed.
Summary
In Superset, inactive clients should be archived instead of deleted. Archiving ensures clients are excluded from billing calculations and helps manage your account effectively. Follow the outlined steps to archive clients and keep your account streamlined.
