Why can’t I offer a Product as a subscription?

Why only one-time programs?

We’ve seen that one-off programs work better for coaches — both in results and revenue. Here’s why:

  • Higher earnings per client

    One-time programs capture more upfront revenue compared to low-cost monthly subscriptions, which often churn after ~3 months.

  • Built-in upsell moments

    Programs have natural end points where you can upsell 1:1 coaching, a follow-up program, or a new challenge.

  • Less ongoing maintenance

    Subscriptions require constant new content and support to keep clients engaged.

  • Stronger retention

    Low-priced subscriptions typically see poor retention. One-off programs give clients structure and help you scale with clear “next step” offers.

Products are built to help you sell smarter:

  • Maximize client lifetime value

  • Avoid heavy content churn

  • Build natural upsell paths

Subscriptions may look like passive income, but one-time programs give you more flexibility and growth potential.
