How to use Exercise Groups in Superset

Create organized exercise groups in Superset Sheets—easily combine movements into circuits, warm-ups, or custom formats.

Updated over 2 months ago

Note: You can group exercises as a circuit, warm-up, cool down, or as a custom exercise group.

Follow these steps...

  1. Open up a new or existing program in Superset Sheets.

  2. Highlight two or more rows using your cursor.

  3. Press Cmd + G or tap the icon left of the exercise to group the exercise together.

  4. Superset will default to grouping the exercises as a circuit.

  5. To change the type of exercise group, tap the circuit header and select from the menu which group type you'd like program.

A few additional notes:

  • Circuits are the default group type – you can't change the default group type currently.

  • Warm-ups, cool downs, and custom exercise groups are not round-based, this means you won't set a number of rounds for the group – instead you can program a number of sets for each exercise.

  • Name a custom exercise group by typing in the custom group's header.

  • Each group type will show up in the client app with a different color.

That's it!
