How to connect Oura to Superset

Walk your client through connecting their Oura Ring so their sleep, readiness, and activity data shows up in Superset

Once your client connects, their Oura data syncs automatically and you'll see it in the Data tab on web and inside their client profile sidebar. They can disconnect at any time.

Follow these steps

  1. Have your client open the Superset app on their phone and go to the Data tab.

  2. They tap Connect next to Oura. They can also do this from ProfileIntegrationsConnect.

  3. They'll be taken to Oura. If they're already logged in, they tap Submit Connection. If not, they log in to their Oura account first.

  4. They tap Open in Superset to come back to the app.

  5. They're connected. They can tap to dismiss the confirmation. Data will start populating shortly.

Notes & best practices

  • Available on Business and Enterprise plans only. It's auto-enabled on your account — no setup needed on your side.

  • Data syncs 4 times a day automatically. Neither you nor your client need to refresh anything.

  • First-time connection backfills 30 days of your client's history, so you'll see trends right away.

  • What you'll see: Sleep score, Readiness score, Activity score, time slept, and sleep stage breakdown (Awake, REM, Light, Deep). Filter by 30, 60, 90 days, or all-time.

  • Disconnecting keeps the history. If your client disconnects Oura, past data stays in Superset - only new data stops syncing.

  • Clients need an active Oura membership for scores to populate. Without it, Oura returns empty data.

FAQ

My client doesn't see the option to connect Oura - why?

Oura is only available on Business and Enterprise plans. If you're on a different plan, the integration won't show up in your client's app. Reach out to support if you'd like to upgrade.

My client connected, but I don't see their data yet

Ask them to open their Oura app first so it syncs to Oura's cloud, then wait a few hours. Superset pulls new data 4x a day. If it's still missing after 24 hours, reach out to support.

Can my client disconnect Oura later?

Yes. They go to AccountIntegrations and tap Disconnect. Their historical data stays in Superset, but new data won't sync.

What Oura data do I see as a coach?

Daily Sleep, Readiness, and Activity scores, time slept, and your client's sleep stage breakdown. You won't see heart rate, workouts, or other Oura metrics.

Is there an extra cost for me or my client?

No. Oura is included in Business and Enterprise plans at no extra charge for both sides.
