How the GymMaster integration works

Connect GymMaster to Superset so membership activity flows through — available on Business and Enterprise plans

Written by Agatha Beise

Available on the Business and Enterprise plans.

If your gym runs on GymMaster, Superset can receive activity from it through a webhook. Membership changes in GymMaster reach Superset without anyone re-entering them.

How to set it up

The integration needs a webhook configured on both sides, so it's set up with the Superset team.

  1. Email [email protected] and say you want to connect GymMaster.

  2. Superset provides the webhook endpoint for your account.

  3. Add that endpoint in GymMaster, or ask your GymMaster contact to add it.

  4. Superset confirms activity is arriving before you rely on it.

Notes & best practices

  • Test with a small group before switching your whole membership over. Much easier to spot a mapping problem across five people than five hundred.

  • Decide which system is the source of truth for membership. Running both by hand is how records drift apart.

  • Tell your front desk staff before you switch it on. If they're used to adding people in both places, they'll create duplicates.

  • If activity stops arriving, the webhook is usually the cause. Contact support rather than re-entering data by hand.

FAQ

Is this available on my plan?

The GymMaster integration is part of Business and Enterprise. Email [email protected] to talk about moving up.

Can I set this up myself?

No. The webhook has to be configured on both sides, so contact [email protected].

Which system should hold membership?

Pick one and stick to it. Maintaining membership by hand in both systems leads to records that disagree.

What if data stops flowing?

Contact [email protected]. It's usually the webhook, and re-entering data by hand makes reconciliation harder.
