The Metrics tab holds a client's weight history. It's the view to open before a check-in call, because it shows the trend rather than a single number.
Follow these steps
Open People and go to your clients.
Open the client.
Go to Metrics.
Read the entries. Use the direction across several weeks, not the gap between two entries.
What each column tells you
Weight — the value recorded.
Date — when it was recorded.
Method — how it arrived. Manually means it was typed in. Check-in means it came through a check-in form. Exercise means it was captured during an exercise.
Added by — who entered it. Either the client or a coach.
Notes & best practices
Metrics is weight only. Wearable data from Oura and Apple Health sits in the health views, not here.
Weight moves day to day for reasons that have nothing to do with training. Read the direction across weeks.
Agree on when and how the client weighs in — same time of day, same conditions. Otherwise you're comparing numbers that aren't comparable.
If weights only ever arrive by check-in, the client is weighing in when your form asks rather than on a routine. Worth knowing when you read the trend.
Use Added by when a number looks wrong. It tells you whether to ask the client or check your own entry.
